Christmas Nails.
Happy Christmas Eve Eve. Two days until Christmas. Breathe! Did you get your Christmas shopping done? Are you ready? Are you hanging in there…?
I finally found the time to do my nails for Christmas. I love being festive, and I love this time of the year. All the beautiful decorations, and colors, and the happiness of the Christmas spirit! I wanted to do my nails like this a week ago, but I haven’t found time. I keep my nails short. I work in healthcare and long nails to me in regards to what I do a living is disgusting! It also attracts a lot of germs, and I could scratch one of my residents possibly. You can read more about what I do for a living here. I don’t get my nails done, I find it enjoyable to do it myself. I’ve been doing my own nails since I was 13.
Here is how I did my nails for Christmas: (It looks sloppy but the extra paint will wash off in the shower)…
I used two coats of red and green. I used green on my ring finger only. Then I used the “Sally Hansen confetti” glitter on the red nails and then I used gold glitter from the dollar tree on the green nails. Let your nails dry before applying any new coat of polish. I used the hairdryer to dry my nails. I think a nail dryer is a waste of money.
Here they are:

I’m happy my nails are all done for Christmas.
This is the nail polish I used:

I like to use cheap nail polish from the dollar tree, mostly, since I work in healthcare and don’t go all out. I also wash my hands a lot, and it tends to wear off fast. It serves the purpose and saves a lot of money. Once in a while, I splurge on more expensive gel polish.
Here are the links if to the product I used to create these nails:

These dollar tree nail polishes are all sold out, but you can click on them and it will give you an idea of what to use…

Happy Holidays. I recently started talking care of my nails. Question is this a good brand of nail polish.
It does the trick. Happy Holidays! Thanks for the visit!!
Very festive nails. My hands are the same, constant handwashing, plus handing books, means that nailpolish doesn’t last even a full day with me. I only really wear nailpolish when I go away on vacation, when I don’t have to do so much work with my hands.
I work with my hands as well. I have to add 5 coats for it to actually stay on.
I love having festive nails on Christmas day
Yes, same. Thanks for reading.
Very pretty! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas! 🙂
Thank you so much. Merry Christmas!!
I’ve just done my nails today — I just used red (as I love the look of it — plus it’s festive)! I like that people do little things like this for the holidays.
Yes, it’s so fun. Happy holidays!
These nails are so fun and festive! Merry Christmas!
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you!
I love your Christmas nails! So cute! Merry Christmas to you too!
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you!!!
I don’t do my nails. I like it on other people, but not on me. Crazy, I know. Yours are cute!
Me either. I clean the house and wash my hands all the time. It wears off and chips right away, it’s fun to do but I don’t see the point.
Love the festive colours! I ma not usually much into doing my nails unless I am really in the mood! Hope you had a great Christmas x
