How to crochet an ear saver or a mask mate.

These are easy to crochet, since I work in healthcare, these are a life saver. I’ve had to wear a mask my whole shift, but my ears didn’t have any part of it! =) I also made these for my buddies.

U.S. Terms:

DC= double crochet

With Size H/5.00 hook chain 15.

Row 1: 2 DC in the first stitch, and then 1 DC in each stitch all the way across until you reach the last stitch, in the last stitch crochet 4 DC’s in the last stitch and turn 180 degrees.

Row 2: Double crochet in each stitch across and in the last stich make 4 DC. Slip stitch in the first stitch.

Then there will be two little holes on each side, sew two buttons on the side, where the little holes are.

    Thanks so much for sharing this! I’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet but never got around to it. Perhaps this is a mini project I can undertake in my spare time.
