How to save money on appliances.

My Dad taught me this trick, saved me hundreds of dollars. When you need a washer, dryer or refrigerator, go to Home Depot or Lowe’s, and there is a damaged marked down section. By damaged they mean 1 or 2 scratches, the product works fine you can even get a warranty, since you are saving 50% off.

For example I just saw an $800 washing machine going for $450 at Home Depot and I had to really hunt for the scratch. You are not going to a scratch when you appliance is backed up against the wall.

This is a great trick if your appliance goes out and you are stuck in a jam, plus you save 50% over a scratch or tiny dent. They work fine I’ve had my washer for 16 years. They aren’t able to sell none working appliances.

They also have a yellow markdown tag on the appliance.
