How was everyone’s Christmas? This is how mine went.

They say “It’s better to give than receive”. Which is true. There is so much satisfaction when you see the look on your children’s faces when they open up their presents, the same goes for anyone.

This is how my Christmas went.

We went to my parent’s house for dinner.

Here is the dinner table, with the beautiful china:

I love the holly or mistletoe.

This is the food my Mom served. It was delicious. My Mom is an old farmer, she said on the farm all she did was cook, garden, and sew.

Prime Rib Roast, Green Beans Almondine, Mashed Potatoes with butter & sour cream, Red Wine Poached Pears, Red Wine Au Jus Gravy, Apple/Red Grapes/Banana Salad, Crescent Rolls, Sparkling Apple/Grape Juice Beverage, and Pumpkin Pie & Whipped Cream.

My Mom can cook!

The is a beautifully decorated mantel and stairs:

My Mom painted the picture with the deer.

Then guess what time it was? Time to open presents!

Here’s my Mom’s beautiful tree, with all the presents under it:

Here is my Dad with the Christmas gift I got him:

I bought this for my parents off of Etsy. From this shop.

I bought my Mom a Burt’s and Bee’s gift set.

Some arthritis cream.

A grocery gift card to help pay for the meal she cooked.

I got my Dad a Home Depot Gift card.

I originally wanted to buy my parents this sign, from Green Cottage Design on Etsy, but I had to call in sick the day that I worked overtime, and was getting a bonus.

I got my Aunt a Dr. Teal’s Epsom salt gift set.

And my cousin, daughter’s, and my brother a Visa gift card.

I got my daughter a makeup brush set.

Bath and Body Works gift card.

subnautica mouse pad

My Daughter got some Converse sneakers from my Aunt.

My kids got spoiled by all their relatives.

For Christmas I got:

An Elbert Einstein Quote key chain from my co-worker.

A really nice comfortable pillow from my Dad:

Large Dish Detergent.

Dunkin Donuts Coffee:

Some nice Jelly:

A work badge holder retractable that says “If you can read this, you are too close”.

Some make-up, nail polish and earrings.

I got a Christmas bonus at work.

My Dad put a new toilet in my house for Christmas.

I also got the dogs, dog toys for Christmas, and they also got a pig’s ear.

Last but not least, my daughter and I went downtown to the capital to look at the lights:

I had a really blessed Christmas. How was your Holiday?

Great pictures! I am glad you had a good Christmas with family. Ours, like many others we know, did not go as planned but it was still good.
    Many Blessings

Such awesome pictures, Michelle! One of the best things about Christmas is the blessings of togetherness with family and the creation of such beautiful and lasting memories.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your Christmas with your family. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿค—

I too had a wonderful Christmas with my husband, Mother, Step-dad, sister, brother-in-law, and three year old niece. Got phone calls from my adult, out-of-state children.

We had a wonderful dinner and opened gifts. The best part was watching the baby open hers and seeing her little face light up! ๐Ÿ˜

    Family is forever! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’

Wishing you and yours a very happy and prosperous New Year! ๐Ÿ•Š

What a fun Christmas! Mine was quiet, but nice. My husband fixed a delicious ham dinner. I don’t know how you felt about it, but I think your dad’s present of the installation of a new toilet is one of the best presents you could get. Your family will appreciate it every day for years to come!
