They say “It’s better to give than receive”. Which is true. There is so much satisfaction when you see the look on your children’s faces when they open up their presents, the same goes for anyone.
This is how my Christmas went.
We went to my parent’s house for dinner.

This is the food my Mom served. It was delicious. My Mom is an old farmer, she said on the farm all she did was cook, garden, and sew.
Prime Rib Roast, Green Beans Almondine, Mashed Potatoes with butter & sour cream, Red Wine Poached Pears, Red Wine Au Jus Gravy, Apple/Red Grapes/Banana Salad, Crescent Rolls, Sparkling Apple/Grape Juice Beverage, and Pumpkin Pie & Whipped Cream.
My Mom can cook!

I bought my Mom a Burt’s and Bee’s gift set.
Some arthritis cream.
A grocery gift card to help pay for the meal she cooked.
I got my Dad a Home Depot Gift card.
I got my Aunt a Dr. Teal’s Epsom salt gift set.
And my cousin, daughter’s, and my brother a Visa gift card.
I got my daughter a makeup brush set.
Bath and Body Works gift card.
My Daughter got some Converse sneakers from my Aunt.
My kids got spoiled by all their relatives.
For Christmas I got:
An Elbert Einstein Quote key chain from my co-worker.
A really nice comfortable pillow from my Dad:
Large Dish Detergent.
Dunkin Donuts Coffee:
Some nice Jelly:
A work badge holder retractable that says “If you can read this, you are too close”.
Some make-up, nail polish and earrings.
I got a Christmas bonus at work.
My Dad put a new toilet in my house for Christmas.
I also got the dogs, dog toys for Christmas, and they also got a pig’s ear.
Last but not least, my daughter and I went downtown to the capital to look at the lights:
