I am lucky to see hot air balloons every morning…
When I take the kids to school, I see hot air balloons floating away in the sky. They are very pretty. This is something new where I live in the past two years. They remind me of a simpler time, when hot air balloons were used for transportation, when things weren’t so busy, and technology took over. Hot air balloons remind me of the movie “The Wizard of Oz”. They are very peaceful. They go in the direction of the wind, just floating away….

My Mom is from Indianola Iowa, and they have a beautiful hot air balloon museum. https://www.nationalballoonmuseum.com/
I can never ride in a hot air balloon. Since I’ve gotten older, I get motion sickness and heights scare me. I have to take medication to fly.
I have a bunch of pictures, but unfortunately they are not good quality….

Hot air balloons are so pretty to look at ! You’re blessed with such an amazing view everyday.
Yes, they are really pretty in the sky but not to ride in for me! Thanks for the visit!
Two years ago, at the same site as the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival, a hot air balloon show was held. Fabulous fun!
Yes they are fun to watch, and pretty.
I have been up in a balloon only once while it was tethered to the ground during a festival.
It is a marvelous experience, but to float so freely over the earth is a dream to glimpse at from the ground.
Yes, they are majestic, but I couldn’t handle riding in one! Thanks for the visit.
In between two office towers I can see a small section of the Swan River. If the weather’s good there’s usually a few yachts out there.
Sounds like a really nice view. Thanks for the visit.
I am so so jealous! That must be absolutely wonderful to see when taking the kids to school.
Hot air balloons to drop kids to school or just for fun? I wouldn’t ride on those either. Fun and routine are different. And did I love the pics. Xx

I just see them on my drive on the way to school.
