If I seem MIA, Covid is getting very wicked right now…

At work, I have 18 Covid positive residents, and 10 employees out with Covid. Everyone is vaccinated with the booster.

It looks like I am going to lose some of my residents that I am attached to that are like family. They have lived a full life, however. This is part of my job, but it is emotionally devastating, and draining to see them like this….

It is taking everything in me to take care of them, and I am worn out.

Asking for positive thoughts, prayers, and vibes.

Thank you for caring for others. You are to be commended and certainly appreciated for your graciousness. I did say a prayer for you. Please take extra care of yourself as we know being tested and having boosters help greatly (I felt grateful to be able to get my vaccinations and booster) it doesn’t stop this new strain. We know two families that were quite sick even though they had their vaccinations. It does save lives though. Bless you heart and May God surround you with his loving arms and keep you safe and help those sick to heal. Love and hugs Joni

I’m so sorry SHTF. Neighour had COVID-19 at the care home they worked at as well, and they lost several residents. Please take good care of yourself.

This pandemic has taken a toll on all healthcare workers. I am sorry to hear of the numbers at your facility. It is very difficult to lose patients and clients. I pray for your inner strength to protect you always. May everyone be surrounded by peace during this most difficult time.
    Many Blessings,
    Lisa

One of my little sisters is a carer so I know how hard it is especially now during a pandemic. It sounds like you have had a stressful time. Stay safe. I hope 2022 is a safer year!
