Once in a blue moon.

Tomorrow is the full blue moon. Where did the term “blue moon”, come from might you ask? It just means that there was two full moons in a calendar month. Also the Native Americans, as sturgeon moon, because sturgeons were easier to catch during the blue moon in the Great Lakes area.

So tomorrow is the full moon. I am assuming my co workers are going to be one edge, and that my patients more confused. It seems like it always happens during a full moon.

The moon looks very pretty right now.

I love how this post celebrates how we can find joy from the beauty around us. As a nurse, I can attest that full moons are not welcome in the medical world! Thanks for sharing!

What is it about a full moon? I had an ex boyfriend who’d randomly send me texts but it was only when I started recording them in my diary I noticed it was on dates that were full moon.

This was really interesting. I didn’t know that so many people associated this with blue moons.
